RID is excited to launch our new website landing page design to celebrate…. you! We have received your comments and ideas as you continuously requested for a more accessible, interactive, and resourceful site- and we hope this new layout will lead to just that!
Your homepage will guide you to a number of pages throughout the site. With adjustable font sizes, larger images, and a clickable slider, everything you need to learn about interpreting, how to hire one of our qualified interpreters in the database, or what RID is doing for the profession can be found right here at “home.”
For more efficient navigation, we have condensed a number of items in our menu. With the new design reveal, notice updates to menu items About RID and Events. About RID will lead you to information about the Who We Are, Interpreting Resources, and Governance. Who we are will contain RID values, Board of Directors, HQ staff, and your councils, committees, and task forces. Interpreting Resources will lead you to information about becoming or hiring an interpreter, standards, and other search tools. Governance is everything you need to know that’s happening with the Board of Directors meeting minutes, agendas, and bylaws. You can regularly check the website for new information like posts from HQ, Board meeting agendas and minutes, as well as announcements and job postings!
At this time your remaining menu items are still the same as before, but will soon be updated for more efficient site navigation. If you can’t find what you’re looking for right away, be sure to utilize our sitemap near the bottom of the page.
