Become a Test Administrator

The role of the Test Administrator is crucial to the success and vitality of the RID Certification Program. We are seeking individuals highly dedicated to the interpreting profession with the capability to share their time for the growth of the profession.

Consider becoming a Test Administrator if you are willing to:

  • Commit time to administering the exams
  • Adhere to the guidelines for RID agents
  • Follow security and confidentiality measures

 

Requirements:

  • Prospective test administrators should already be certified and/or have no future plans to take interpreter certification exams.

 

To apply to become a Test Administrator:

  • Request an application packet from the RID Certification and Education Department
  • Submit the completed forms along with the following:
    1. A letter identifying your reasons for wanting to become a Test Administrator
    2. A letter of recommendation from the site coordinator
    3. A current résumé

Test Administrator applications should be submitted to the RID Certification and Education Department. Please contact the RID Certification and Education Department for more information or an application.
