Director of Certification: The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), a national membership organization, seeks a Director of Certification to lead the organization’s Certification Program. RID provides a valued certification program that encourages interpreters to strive for excellence in their field. RID seeks to become a model of industry best practices in the administration of the program and is committed to consistent and meaningful communication with all candidates and stakeholders.
Meetings Manager: The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc., (RID), a national membership organization, seeks a Meetings Manager responsible for the planning, coordinating and marketing of all association meetings and events, including the biennial national conference and exhibition as well as five biennial regional conferences, bi-annual board of directors meetings, committee meetings, and all other meetings/events.
Intern: RID’s Public Policy and Advocacy Department seeks two undergraduate or graduate students interested in government, legislation, public policy, and/or advocacy. Interns will work on a variety of federal and state policy issues that impact our organization’s pursuit of excellence in interpreting and transliteration services.
